Benzotriazole is a white needle-shape crystalloid with the chemical formula C6H5N3. It is bitter, odorless, and soluble in alcohol, benzene, toluene, chloroform and dimethylformamide, and slightly soluble in water. It can be processed to be big flake, column, fine granular, and powder. It is not inflammable or explosive or corrosive, low poison and the LD50 for small mouse is 965mg/kg.
